Please read the following information to ensure that your application is completed correctly.

What you will need before you begin the application process:

• 1) BSCI 20020 & 20021, CHEM 10050,  10052 or 10054 must be in progress or completed.
• 2) Your reference's name and e-mail addresses
• 3) Banner ID (from Flashline) if admitted to Kent State University

1.) Please complete every portion of the application

2.) References will be electronically submitted. *Reference letters should be obtained from a professional who can provide information on your academic or work ethic, example: professors, instructors, clergymen, or previous employer. The applicant will be notified by e-mail when the reference letters have been sent, received, and submitted. All references must be submitted by the application deadline

3.) All fields must be filled in to continue to the next section

4.) Applicants applying for Fall 2010 admission to the Nursing Sequence must specify a campus (Kent, Geauga, Salem, Stark, or Trumbull).  Each class is accepted on the basis that the College of Nursing has available faculty for class offerings. Meeting minimal requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the Nursing Sequence

5.) All materials must be received before April 30th, 2010. This includes your references. Applications will be reviewed once all grades have been submitted from the current semester. All applicants will be notified of acceptance or denial by e-mail

6.) Priority will be given to students who are accepted to the Univerisity by April 30th, 2010 with transcripts received by April 30th, 2010. Any official transcripts must be sent to University Admissions, as well as an official copy sent to the College of Nursing.
